WLA Specialist cars TVR Main Dealer

Technically the car isn't on it's original number anyway, which was N62XKE.
Secondly I have no idea what the original number plate would have looked like, so this was a bit of artistic licence anyway.
Thirdly you don't have to fit them to your car if you don't like them

That’s a great idea that I’d not thought about before.
I’m going to investigate getting a pair made up for my car with the supplying dealer logo/contact details.
Incidentally, I showed the photos of your number plates to my wife and she replied that you car guys can’t stop yourselves from spending money on your toys even when they are working fine. I think she may be right!

I solved the back lit issue.
RetroPlates (contact on FaceBook or Instagram) did the design. RetroPlates can't supply translucent plates.
I paid them for a pair of plates.
I then sent an image of the completed rear plate to FancyPlates in Ireland, details in a previous post in this thread.
They have copied the RetroPlates design & have produced me a translucent rear plate to match.
Slightly convoluted, and TBH I bought a pair of plates off RetroPlates as I didn't want to be cheeky and get them to design and then only buy a front before having the rear copied. But it does give me a spare rear plate if I ever decide to go towing with my Griffith!
All in about £75.
No doubt Lucy P will be along to tell me I have got this wrong as well...

Re the rear plate fancyplates still do the translucent TVR ones. They’re based in Ireland so no V5 needed to order. Used them for my first Griff and every car since.

Exactly: the backlit plate is one of the features I love on TVRs. My Cerb is technically slightly too new, I really fancy converting it to backlit. Obviously, the risk of upsetting Lucy P means I shouldn't even be contemplating it...
