Another missing Tuscan LWB has turned up in Germany (MAL009) and I am searching for any information on the car, particularly history in the US.
If anyone has any information they could share I would be very happy to receive this.
For note I am not the owner, but perhaps potential owner

The guru on the MAL Tuscans is Guy Dirkin, part owner of recently restored Wide Body Tuscan MAL 019.
Guy has written an extensive document on the MAL Tuscans and researched the existing cars.
Unfortunately MAL 009 is not on his list and if Guy does not know of MAL 009 existence then probably no one else does either.

You could try Mervyn Larner - UK TVR Car Club secretary to see if they have any info on MAL 009.

This is correct for MAL 009. V8 Tuscans Mal 008 to Mal 015 were the first 'Bolt-on' bodies which was the Vixen S2 body with a Vixen S2 interior.
Mal 001 to Mal 007 were bonded bodies with the same interior as the V8 LW series of Tuscans.
Mal 016 to Mal 022 were the wide body V8 Tuscans.

Not saying no but the ones I have seen ( not many) Have all had Vixen S1type non servo pedal Boxes. The first 70 odd Vixen S2 had Vixen S1 non servo type pedal boxes so I guess it is where in the production run the MAL Cars were produced. It looks old and not particularly messed about with but I would need to see Pedal boxes in Mal 8 and 10 to be convinced that it was the real deal and also a good look at the chassis and certain body fixtures :-)

Its nice when a missing car surfaces but also sometimes just a little convenient that it is a missing car from a Published sequence..

Due diligence is necessary but a great project either way :-)
