I'm sure that every long standing reader of Motor Sport will be saddened to hear that GC has died at 70. He had been at the mag for donkey's years and didn't allow his disabilities (wheelchair bound for decades after a car crash in which he was passenger) to affect his work or interests. I am not always a fan of Andrew Frankel's prose but he has done a wonderful , and very moving tribute to GC on the MS website
