National Car Photo Locations

Thanks for the replies. To answer your questions, we travel around a lot with our vehicles so where in the country isn’t an issue and the more photos we can get the better. We will be using them for our social media, adverts, brochures and for our vehicle archives for future generations.
As for breathtaking I would say anything that would make the vehicles stand out and look luxurious. We have had some taken for example in front of parliament in London and some on the Jurassic coast. Both very different locations but as equally impressive in the photos. So a variety of locations and ideas would be amazing. Just any that you would think look nice and accessible from a 6m vehicle. Thanks again

It's a matter of tatse to an extent, i haven't managed to get the right car in the right location at the right time but not far from me is a small layby that overlooks a small valley, nothing special - in fact decidedly average - but early mornings if the weather conditions are just right, you get the sunrise illuminating the valley and low level mist. Personally, i would say it's almost magical if you could get the timing right and the weather conditions were spot on but too many variables i guess. As for breathtaking I would say anything that would make the vehicles stand out and look luxurious. As Slopes hinted at above, it’s ALL about the light. I’ve seen hundreds of boring photos of the Grand Canyon over the years because they were taken during the day under bright sunshine with no contrast, depth, etc.
As everyone knows, the best light is usually that lovely hour or so around sunrise and sunset, but only if the weather is playing ball too. You could stop at a motorway services, get out of the car and realise you’ve got the best light ever that makes a mundane location look special. Keep your eyes open!
