Yup, epic mass max rotation take-off from 74's F1 Lightnings.....very famous bit of film.

Had to laugh at the commentator's comment re the Trident and its 'notably quiet RR Spey engines' rofl

It was one of the loudest airliners around in the 60's and 70's smile

I may have been there that day as Dad and I went several times in the late '50s and early '60s. The sight of Lightnings heading skywards is etched in my memory along with that Black Arrows loop.

Internet says the last Black Arrows display was in 1960: https://www.britishpathe.com/asset/191015/

That fits. I can't remember the years and programmes are long gone. I do recall that one year my Dad got the dates wrong and we went on a non-public day by mistake and couldn't get in.

That film taken in 1962 I think was the last, or one of the final displays of the 16 x Hunter Blue Diamonds displays.
