Anyone on here take L Cittruline. If so, how much per day, where do you buy it and at what price, noticed any benefits or side effects.
Just ordered 240 1500mg capsules (so 2 months worth) for just over £20. I'm 62. Blood pressure is fine but L Cittruline should help keep it fine. Very occasional episodes of ED, maybe once in every half dozen encounters, but I wouldn't mind eradicating that.
Just wondered if anyone else had tried it.

I take an arginine and citrulline complex daily.
Citrulline is converted into arginine in the body and arginine is converted into nitric oxide. I'm only assuming taking both acts as a kind of extended release of nitric oxide as it will presumably take longer for the citrulline to get converted into nitric oxide than it does for arginine.
I think it helps with my circulation which was my primary aim.

L Citrulline on its own is enough. As noted, it's a precursor to Arginine so taking them both will just be like taking extra Arginine, ie no advantage. From what I can recall L citrulline is marginally the better compound but both are good for bp and vasodilation.
Hmmm........speaking of vasodilation I wonder if this stuff is any good for Raynauds? I've tried the usual stuff - nifedipine, but it doesn't have any effect. Armitage.Shanks said:

I have no knowledge of Raynauds, my quals and experience are in exercise and sport science. I can tell you bodybuilders who need to have their bp reduced quickly are often treated with magnesium malate.Gassing Station | Health Matters | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
