How many new 992 GT3RS are not for sale at OPC's ?
Discussion
I searched on AT for 992 GT3RS with less than 500 miles on the clock ... and found 2 with OPC's and 6 with specialist dealers ?
So what is supporting the overs prices ??

I think this is the next one to fall ... I'll bet there are a lot more cars out there than any owners expected and Porsche have therefore been selling pre-reg into the trade ??
How else can one explain the mileages ?

Dealer will still be trying to maximise their profits where they can, nothing new. How else can one explain the mileages ?

Theyre all off road having their CLs fixed…..
... and advertised for sale !There are at least 10 992 Tourings which disappeared from the OPC finder, on a single day, a couple of weeks ago. The same day, 4RS's, 992 GTS's and SRS's also disappeared.
Some of them have started to appear agin, but only a few so far.

BMW and their dealers have a swathe of ix3's which were withdrawn from sale until their brake system recall is complete, local dealership had 10 of them on the forecourt - all with pricing details removed to the footwells and withdrawn from all advertising.

Such doom mongers and conspiracy theories.
I was at Porsche Silverstone second week of November and personally witnessed the handover of two GT3 Touring's one MY23 in Arctic Grey and one MY24 in GT Silver. I had to go back a week later and they had also then sold a pts Touring.
That's three that sold from just one OPC.

Interesting. There are currently 23 992 RSs advertised on AT, of which 8 are from OPCs. On Porsche Approved/Used there are 12 listed.
Seems quite a few considering we're still out of 'buying season' and for a car that EVO crowned ECOTY and TDCOTY last year.
And let's not forget, at around the £300k asking prices when you take off the 15% dealer margin the owners are only getting back roughly what they paid - around £250k when spec'd with the 'right' options, so the flippers aren't making anything. PTS doesn't seem to command any premium on asking prices either.

I feel like that car has been for sale for ages - does it still qualify as flipping?Seems quite a few considering we're still out of 'buying season' and for a car that EVO crowned ECOTY and TDCOTY last year.

This is what I could find on the 992.2 GT3RS ... for spring 2026 ??
https://www.evo.co.uk/porsche/911-gt3-rs/207050/th...
Hence I guess that the gen.1 will be manufactured for the whole of this year ?

The only thing that would slightly surprise me is if they offered the manual gearbox out of the S/T as an option - stranger things have happened, like offering rear seats in the new GT3. It's not as if they can do much with the engine (apart from the two extra cats) or maybe they'll also offer rear seats in the RS so you can take the kids round the track.https://www.evo.co.uk/porsche/911-gt3-rs/207050/th...

Either way I think more aerodynamic oval dampers made from carbon are a distinct possibility...
