Replacing door threshold
Discussion
In theory, one side will have gripper pins to hold the carpet and if you release the carpet and pull it back you'll see screw holes in the plate. At that point you should then see how it has been fixed, whether screwed, glued or even floating.
How you fix the replacement is personal choice. Drilling and plugging the concrete is probably belt and braces but I suspect most people just silicone them and never incur any issues. Maybe base that decision on how much footfall?

Thx, limited footfall, ensuite for spare bedroom. How you fix the replacement is personal choice. Drilling and plugging the concrete is probably belt and braces but I suspect most people just silicone them and never incur any issues. Maybe base that decision on how much footfall?
