Is it worthwhile having my 90 year old roof cleaned?
Discussion
Several months in and I’m trying to prioritise works on my house having done sweet F.A. so far.
The survey picked up some growth and re-pointing necessary to the (disused) chimney stack and nesting jackdaws.
There’s a lot of moss up there. The roof is original. The house would be a good candidate for a loft conversion but this isn’t something I’m likely to do as I don’t need the space. Equally there are no problems with the roof. As you can see my neighbours have had theirs re-tiled at some point.
