Mk5 GTI Injector
Discussion
2008 standard GTI, BWA engine
Had a right hassle with injectors and in need of some guidance. Misfire on cylinder 3 can after investigating all things point to needing to change the injector. OEM number on the injectors is 06F906036A.
GSF injector is for the CAWB engine and when I looked at it the o-ring which seals into the fuel rail was green. (https://www.gsfcarparts.com/185vg0570)
Eurocarparts image looks right however the part I got was the same as GSF, green o-ring (https://www.eurocarparts.com/p/bosch-injector-431441870#bl-ecp-204-nf)
The wrong one supplied had a Bosch number of 26150001 but the right one in the image has Bosch number of 026150076.
Am I correct to think that the one from GSF with the green o-ring is incorrect and I need to find the right one or could it be new o-ring to cope with E10 and be just fine? OEM is a fortune so that rules out going there. Ideally I'd rather just replace the one which is gone but if I can find them cheap enough I'd rather just do them all and not have to worry about it again.
I have 4 seal kits on order to replace all the plastic clips back to metal.
Any help would be greately appreciated.
