I've just specced my ideal new car ... I wanted to minimise unsprung mass to enable the suspension to work as well as possible ... I had to accept Weissach, selected Clubsport but then couldn't select five point belts also for the passenger without losing the magnesium wheels (and Weissach which I didn't want).

I am guessing this is a glitch ...

However, only black or white as standard colours ? Blue, Red and a couple of others for £1700 extra ... or PTS at over £10k ??

Herewith my choice : https://porsche-code.com/PSSIM447

..... £213k with the first registration charge ?

P.S. Does the pale yellow look slightly dirty to others ?

Bizarre.

Guards red was an option cost extra on the 991.1 GT3 RS too.

Rear seats and folding buckets.... thats a surprise.

Mind, my dealer advised they wouldn't sell me one as too many more deserving types.

If you can get an allocation then c£165k gets you a nice spec Touring, without all the internet 'must-have' nonsense...

Well this is a bit of lunchtime fun, quickly topping 220k specced with the goodies which is silly money but then they'll easily sell at that and more.

Touring lightweight in grown up spec: https://porsche-code.com/PS6URXB5

Weissach in fun spec (controversially always loved mint green and looks much better in person than on config): https://porsche-code.com/PS6FZ5G8

I agree that's a very useable "daily spec" ... it's certainly the kind of spec I would go for if I had a separate trackday car ... but then I'd probably choose something rather more practical as my daily.

I would have gone for mag wheels without Wessach, but that wasn't an option. I priced in the PCCB's because I'd put Surface Transforms on it ... there isn't so much more spec than that on my proposed spec ...

I wonder if those who are "lucky" enough to get an allocation would be allowed to spec in this way ?

Unlike the previous buckets, these new ones aren't even carbon. They're carbon reinforced plastic.

£130k in September 2017 is the equivalent of £184800 today.

The configurator is great fun. Here is my first stab at it. £185k OTR. I could easily shave off £5k from that if needed. It is nice that Oak Green has moved onto the more standard colour pallet. I know this is not everyone's cup of tea for a GT3, but that is how I would do it given the opportunity. Pretty happy with my very similar spec GTS however, so not sure I'll demean myself by asking the OPC.
