I just want to get it out there that I'm not particularly tech savvy, so the simpler the suggestions or explanations the better please, thank you.

Is there an app that can allow you to make/photoshop fully realistic fake photos? For example, if I wanted a photo of me and the wife standing on top of Mount Everest, is this possible?
Or a photo of me standing in downtown Tokyo?(where I've never been).

It needs to look fully realistic and pass examination by a lay person who might study it for a few minutes.
It doesn't need to pass forensic examination by the FBI lol.
I've only ever seen photos my mates have done as a joke and its immediately obvious that its not real.

Cheers

Thank you

Yep.

Many of the photos you see are photoshopped to f**k. Putting someone somewhere they were not is pretty easy.

(I'm a photographer BTW).

Is there a lot of skill involved or are there clever AI apps that will do most of the work?

Thanks

I was going to suggest ChatGPT but on testing found it to be less than satisfactory.

Why must it insist on putting beards on every man.

Just joined this yesterday after Mrs WR mentioned it.

Sometimes it might take a few days for somebody to respond to a request.

Reddit equivalent that I've used several times: https://www.reddit.com/r/PhotoshopRequest/

I just go straight to to this guy direct now https://www.reddit.com/user/ceelos218/. I usually pay $5/$10 via paypal depending on the complexity. Here's a mountain thing he did for me - removing rather than adding people ($10).

Clean up will do stuff like that now very convincingly on Apple devices.
