Annual Service 2025 lawn themes
Discussion
As we get ready to announce the Annual Service for next year, we'd love to get your input on the lawn themes for next year.
The 25th anniversary party saw five lawns: hot hatches, sports cars, track cars, saloons/estates and supercars.
The Annual Service this year focused on our most popular subcultures in the forums: British, American, Asian, European, supercars and motorsport.
For next year, I'm thinking supercars and motorsport are table stakes for us to build on, but what of the other three? Do we switch to eras - classics, modern classics and future classics? There'll certainly be hot debate on the latter

How about tying it in with PH editorial and forum themes?

A great suggestion thanks Jeremy. I think it's key to have themes that appeal to core PHers but also themes that are broad enough to attract new audiences as well. The themes this year were broad and centred around our most popular subcultures on PH whereas I feel some of these might be a bit limiting, but absolutely something for us to consider.Shed of the Week

I was more thinking of the amazing kit and custom car builds we’ve had but many would be in readers cars.
There are so many exceptional builds and projects in Readers' Cars, so I'm hoping we can pack out the hangar with them next year and maybe get one or two on the stage as well if the owners are up for it
I definitely think the modern/future classic route would be the hottest, that's just where the most attention is in the market just now IMO. The most popular listings and segment increasing in value the quickest seems to be cars in the 1997-2008 region.
Makes sense, it was the golden years for petrolheads when all the manufacturers just went nuts and emissions rules didn't prevent some of the best engines being made or watered down. We now see the electronics and ECUs of this era which replaced a lot of the mechanicals actually was generally for the better, opposed to now where it's just a nannying interference.
Oh, the days where turning off traction control could be done with a single button press and off meant off.

Rapid SUV’s? There are plenty of manufacturers that make them. Urus, RSQ’s, Mecan’s, Cayenne’s, X3,4,5,6M Comps & X3,4M40i’s, Purosangue etc.
just make sure there’s something in place to ensure the lawns are filled. Very disappointing turn out this year at Bicester. The ‘car park’ was better.
