My partner took most of the photos because she is more "artsy" when it comes to that stuff however I took a few myself, which I wanted to share with you folks here. I highly recommend visiting the museum if you're in Malta at any point. 10 euro entry fee which I didn't think was bad. There was a fair bit more than this, but I'm not a massive photo person as I prefer to just enjoy things at the time.

Corvette C1 which I liked the most. So posting that first. I think out of all the cars in the collection this one was the most "fresh". Full nut and bolt restore.

I can't remember what this is, but I thought the front of it looked goofy as.

I love classic minis and been thinking of getting one myself, they had a few different minis including race spec Cooper S but I only took a photo of this one because well, it's a little pickup lol.

I don't have much to add in terms of words, just wanted to share the photos. There was a person also working in the garage on what I believe was a Triumph Spitfire, and on the ramp next to him was a Datsun 240Z but I think it may have been a shell, not sure.

Last year they were restoring an E type

I’d agree it’s nice place go visit although a bit of a git to find tucked in the middle of a residential area at one end of the Island

Interesting thanks for sharing your pictures, haven't been over to Malta for 15+ years and was oblivious to the existence of this museum back then sadly!

Apologies, but the above made me rofl - I always thought the 'Frogeye' Sprite looked more goofy than any of Triumph's offerings!

I'm sure CKY knows but if OP isn't aware, it's a TR3 (TR2 had grille further back [not even sure now that they all had grilles], TR3A had full-width grille).

It's fully restored now and on the floor. I never took a picture.

I don’t think I ever shared my pictures on here - pretty sure I did it somewhere else but if I get chance I’ll add mine just for reference - the amount of memorabilia and period stuff was amazing.

This was the entrance

Can’t really miss this outside

Like I said lots of themed areas

Went there in June. Great little place and about 10 euro to get in.

Worth mentioning they have a decently spec'd simulator as well. However it really needs some configuration because the force feedback is a bit meh, the controls on the wheel are not fully mapped and it's running F1 2024 which imo kinda sucks ass.

They had a Simucube Pro 2 Base, not sure on model but a Cube Control F1 wheel (was a high end one as it was fully decked out), pretty sure the pedals were Heusinkveld Ultimates. Rig itself not sure, but it was an 8040 profile. Triple monitors as well.

I know this is PH and public transport is viewed as avoid at all costs but for €20 per person you can get unlimited travel for 7 days we did 2 weeks in malta and still didn’t see everything

We tried that up to day 2 and then just gave up. Buses are late and spend most of their time trying to get out of the city centers, ferries are shocking because everyone is extremely rude and just physically pushes themselves to the front. Taxis were ok, 50% chance you're going to be listening to someones audio book for your entire journey.

We ended up hiring a convertible mini for about £200 which was night and day, managed to spend an entire day at Gozo on our own schedule.

I’d read that about the bus service but honestly for us it was near perfect with non of the issues you describe - only once on a short leg accross the island did we have to stand

We used buses on our first visit but we mostly wanted to do Valletta and a couple of other spots not too far away which worked fine.
Second time we hired a car and it was great to be able to fit in much more including Gozo.

Great little museum.
I agree hire car is way to go, weird tarmac means any spirited cornering and you are starsky and hutch!
Not a lot of grip in the wet though!

Thanks for the pics. I must get back to Malta at some point. I spent Christmas there fifteen years ago and thought it was quite charming. Didn't know this museum was there. Valletta still had its fleet of old yellow buses back then.

Yep, lovely little museum and well worth visiting if you’re on the island. Got some photos somewhere but on my potato phone so won’t do it justice.

Hire car is definitely the way to go. Buses are good and the Talinja (sp?) card and app are good value but buses can be busy and the service can be sporadic at certain times. Saw so much more with the hire car.
