Bit of a weird thread title I know, it should be impossible.

I am someone who loves driver engagement, I don't really care about straight line speed. I adore my V8 Vantage S for just how raw the experience is. I'd say the next step up for me would be something like a Mclaren. I also have an Alpine A110 and a Caterham.

But I've come to one realisation, whenever me and the missus decide to go somewhere it's often the case that we'd rather take the dog than leave him at home, especially if we're going away for the night, which means that actually getting to use my cars isn't as frequent as I'd like and if there were a more practical option which I enjoy driving I'd be able to combine the two.

I'd consider a classic, but air con is a must-have feature.

The dog is a Bull Terrier. He just about fits on the shelf behind the seats in the Vantage but often makes his way on to the centre console, which tbh ends up being quite a nice arm rest. But it's a bit cruel on him for a 4+ hour journey. Thankfully he doesn't get car sick so I can still have a spirited drive and he doesn't seem to care.

Budget is £150k fully financed up to my eye balls, but £80k would be more ideal.

Cars that come to mind:
Ferrari FF
Aston Rapide AMR
DBX 707
DBS Superleggera
DB11 AMR
911 GT3 with no cage
Ferrari GTC4Lusso

I've driven none of the above so would appreciate feedback on all.

GTC4Lusso was the first and only car that came to mind.

Same, I've read extensively about this vs the FF.

It appears a lot of people prefer the FF for it's more raw nature and steering feel, where as the GTC4Lusso is more refined.

There's also quite a big difference in price.

Yeah Vanquish or Vanquish S is definitely a contender.

I'd prefer a snappier gearbox than what they put in those but still think I would enjoy owning it.

I'm think it would do most of what a DBS SL would do for a fkton less money.

True, and I reckon the steering feel and N/A will give me the buzz.

Dogs, especially wet ones, plus expensive leather trimmed surfaces and claws don’t really work.

I’d get a Fiat Panda and spend the balance on a 360, r8, 911 or F Type V8.

Weve just looked for similar, many Portofino have fold down seat backs which creates a ledge and ok sized opening in to the boot.

Or a 720S has a decent parcel shelf behind the drivers, youd need to look at a 570GT or GT to see if either might work.
