I can’t work out whether he’s really bad, or really good pretending to be bad.

Well the engine wasn’t pretending to blow up at the end, so I’d suggest he’s really bad.

I’m. It one to enjoy another’s failure but when the camera rotates to look out of the back it is priceless.

Now I know what these knobs are doing when they overtake me on the A34.

Awful driving and so often people like that think they are good drivers.

I think the over rev on downshift at 5:50 is what kills the Cayman. A sad end to a good car.

Where’s the guy in the GTR microwaving his kebab?

Oops. Too slow.

That seems like someone who has never driven fast, nor a manual gearbox, nor been on track. Probably bought the Cayman a few days earlier as his first sports car. Then decided to take it to the the track with no idea what he’s doing.

Probably best that the engine gave up before he hurt himself, or someone else.

Edit: no, I was wrong. The channel has other track videos where the driving isn’t great (one hand on the gear lever at all times), but not as bad. Did he let his ham fisted mate drive for a laugh?

Maybe it's a troll video?

987.1 Cayman S so maybe a bore score car and the owner decided to just send it off with a bang.

That’s so bad I genuinely thought it was a spoof. Like when you see videos of people doing “goon riding” on motorcycles. However, having taken a quick look at his other videos… It’s no pisstake! I bet he thinks he is the absolute don! laugh

I'd love to do a track day at some point, but I always have this nagging fear that I'll be there with someone like this whose sole mission is to overtake absolutely everything at any cost and as a result, just steams about the track like some unhinged cock.

Also, thought it was Ronnie Pickering for a minute biggrin
