Shipley.
I've had quotes in the region of £400 to £550 to bring cars up from Northamptonshire and Norfolk, back to the central belt - it'll vary on timescales, the car, if it is to be driven or trailered etc etc. Or Google a few localised carriers but again depends on your specific needs, eg could it come as part of a back load on an HGV or does it need some sort of specialist transport?

I've used Shiply a couple of times, both were delivered as required.
You have the option for it being driven or on a trailer / lorry.
Pricing can vary on how flexible you want to bid and if they can build it in with delivering / collecting another car for the return.
Don't forget you are paying for the time of someone (8 hours) + fuel + wear & tear on the vehicle and you you can see why costs add up....

I have just had a car delivered by one of Shipley’s quotes, came from Coventry to the Scottish Highlands.
They were at the sellers house when they said they would be and arrived up with me when they said they would. Car was delivered on a low loader by 2 very friendly chaps.
The Shipley site makes it easy to see and compare quotes and also to message/chat to the various firms.
This is the second time I have done this through Shipley and based on my experience I would go back to them when I next do it.

Friend of mine had his car delivered smelling strongly of cannabis after using Shiply.
Being fair, that's not on Shipley as an organisation... that's on the character responsible. I think as a platform it's very good however, it really comes down to the individual who'll be carrying out the task which is why some personal recommendations / feedback is vital as there will be the good and the bad all operating out there. Someone had a car collected by Shiply from me.
Whoever they were turned up in a beavertail transporter without enough ramps (so had to construct ramps out of pallets and wood, and then decided to put the trucks spare wheel inside the car they were picking it up, with nothing to prevent the interior getting damaged. Driver didn't care. Wasn't impressed.

Travelling to the other end of the country to collect a car is all part of the buying experience
Bought an E36 from Aberdeen in February.
I'm in South Lincolnshire so it was a 7 hour train journey there followed by an 8 1/2 hour drive home.
Car was faultless apart from crap headlights (condensation inside).
Cost me about £120 all in.
