has anyone got any pics of the inside of the ecu or got one they can open up and have a look.

I've somehow got some water damage and need to replace a few components. however I can't read the numbers off the old ones.

I'm going to try and fix it or I'll have to find a replacement but they seem to be rare and expensive

Yes I thought that and with R4 - guessing the boards were all hand soldered or similar from MBE as machine positioned and baked would be more accurate and universal

Just taken some images of mine.

This is from a 4.5 though.

It is also is the later board MBE 941 REV.F.

fairly sure MBE would repair this for you for not a lot of cash
would also be tested so you know its OK

That's a good point from 350Matt above and I would imagine MBE might be happy to help

BTW ridds' ECU is the same as my spare one - Revision F - so that resistors are the same values

R50 = 3000
R51 = 3000
R54 = 4701
R52 = 51RD
C54 = ?
R53 = 2001

What's your extra resistor for? Top middle.

Absolutely no idea but I noticed that too versus your one

It was on the ECU when I bought it as a spare and is glossed over on to the ECU motherboard so was clearly an MBE or TVR modification

The ECU came with a Speed6 EPROM and I have been unable to get it to respond to AT commands from anything but the S6 EPROM it came with (I have tried with EPROM dumps of my own and other 4.2 V8 engines), so maybe it is a modification for S6 rather than V8 engines

Would seem strange though - but if anyone knows any MBE designers it would be interesting to find out
