As I stated in an earlier post, I miss this forum's early days—so much good technical information. So, to wean myself off of F.B. and maybe drag a few F.B. posters over here from now on, if I do a mod or glean some info, I'm going to tease it on F.B. and post it here. The first example will be a picture of my new All carbon tailpiece, which weighs 39 pounds and has a few mods on it

Certainly very interesting to get some weight off the rear clip.

This forum page needs to be reanimated as the info it contains is stellar IMO.
I've been a PH member for some time and was the one who created the FB UOP, but I'm starting to prefer the "old school" atmosphere of PH.

I posted on F.B. that I wanted to convince folks that this site is better for sharing info. The moderator took down the post and sent a very polite note explaining why he had redacted it so much for that effort. I guess we are on our own. I am excited to share the mods my carbon and Motec guys installed on my GTR project. I will start by saying that the mods include all of the additional tubes required to upgrade the chassis from an EVO frame to an R.S. spec. I am posting a picture of the removable subframe under the transaxle. This mod makes removing the transaxle a piece of cake. I have a modified block of wood that sets on my floor jack to support the box and then roll the ting in from the back.
