Did anyone manage to buy tickets to F1 75 Launch Event on February 18th at O2 in London ?

I entered the queue on AXS before the sale started and the s**t system let me in 1 hour and 20 mins later and everything was sold out already.

I tried as well without luck.

had 2 laptops logged on, 1 for the Amex seats that sold out within 10 minutes and the other in the general admission which I waited over an hour to get through the waiting room for them to also be sold out.

My daughter managed to get through but at £1,024 per ticket it makes Glastonbury look a bargain.

I think FIA are taking the Michael.

£1000+ to have a seat in the O2 and see a bunch of last seasons F1 cars sat there not moving confused

Just fly to Bahrain for pre-season testing and see the actual cars actually on track, for less ££..

The quoted prices were £58 - £113. Were they using dynamic pricing or were those already being resold, at that higher price?

I'm an F1 fan, watched it for decades, but I'm not that into it. I can't be arsed with the dynamic pricing/lottery for race tickets now either. It wasn't so long ago that one could pick up a ticket for a known price at almost any time before a race. Now, not a chance.

C'est la vie. It is what it is, I'm only bothered enough to shout at clouds online every so often biggrin.

Max Verstappen had no idea what it was and when he found out hoped he was sick that week....

No luck here either. Surprised at the £1k price being mentioned here, if it was dynamic pricing I wouldn't have bothered even if I had got through. That fkwit idea needs to die in a corner.

Consoling myself with the fact that my Monza tickets were sent through this afternoon, and I'm sure that will be much more entertaining anyway biggrin

For the first time in F1 history, all 10 teams - Alpine, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Haas, Kick Sauber, McLaren, Mercedes, Racing Bulls, Red Bull, and Williams – their drivers and team principals will come together with fans for a special night to launch the new season and the new liveries on the cars."

I was able to select the £113 tickets but they would then show as sold out.
Wonder if we will see these pop up on eBay etc for double the price

Can anyone explain to me the relevance of 75? Is it 75 years or something.

The 1st World Championship F1 race took place at Silverstone in 1950 therefore I assume the 75 is in reference to the 75th anniversary.

Just so I can get my head around this, it is a reveal of the 2025 liveries, not the 2025 cars?

So I assume they will give each team 10 minutes, reveal the cars and someone like Naomi Schiff, Billy monger, Crofty or Ted Cravitz will take it in turns to ask the drivers and team principle a couple of questions?

Rinse and repeat ten times and then kick everyone out and count the money?

That's what I don't understand. Other than seeing the drivers in person, from a distance, as opposed to simply seeing them on TV every second weekend, there is no actual spectacle at this 'show'. People are paying over £1k a ticket for that!? I must be missing something. Perhaps there's some sort of actual spectacle, donuts in the arena or a load of historic GP cars from each era of the sport that will drive through?? There must be more than just the livery reveals...

I guess well done to F1 if they can sell out an arena for a showcase of no actual 2025 cars, but of non-running show cars with the new season’s sponsor logos stuck to them!

As someone said up thread, it’s going to be cheaper to take a flight to Bahrain and watch the testing or the first race.

Please believe me I was not critiquing F1 or the organisers at all.

Let's face it people spend over a grand going to Silverstone and then watch most if it with their back to the track watching screens! But at least you are at an actual F1 race!!

AS I say F1 right now is a money pit and I dont blame anyone for trying to cash in on it. The fans though, they need to realise what precedent they are setting, but hell who cares look at my social media arent I great. #facepalm

If any event was a sign of how far we have come in this modern world this is it people spending the equivalent of a race ticket less than 20 years ago to watch old cars with new liveries. Staggering
