I'm looking at options of moving from e720s coupe to a spider. anyone know this car? Looks to be a good price when compared to others on autotrader?

Registration is BG22 HSE, obviously won't have had its first MoT yet. Reg May '22 so should have 6 mo factory warranty left. There's a pic of it on a track parade here https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=8319939322... , not sure of the context.

"This beautiful Spider has been serviced by McLaren in July 2023" - so it was 2 months late for its first service, and is now 4 months overdue for its second?

First advertised 18 Oct, price reduced this past Monday by £2k.

I'd be looking at the McLaren dealers' cars alongside, for the sake of a few grand more or a year older. I'd also expect prices to be fairly negotiable in the current market, FWIW.

This has a high spec and looks like a good price, albeit missing a service in 2021. Thoughts?

Not exactly 'missing' a service. Without the registration date the actual schedule isn't clear, but if the Dec 2020 one was on time then the following year it did under 200 miles and was a couple of months late, so either sat in storage or there was some other reason for lack of use. My guess would be it changed hands in Jan/Feb 2022.

Since then it has seen reasonable use and annual services. As it is due another in 8 weeks that will need to be factored in.

Actually my first thought was "WTF have VVS done with their website", although it isn't too bad once you get into it smile

Good point! Didn't look at the dates, does look to be a reasonable price then, albeit prices dropping quickly at the moment!
