Anyone here bought one?
I was at a Royal Enfield dealer yesterday for a general look around and they had one in.
Never heard of them before but the salesman says they are basically a F850/900GS copy but made by the same company who make the engines for BMW.
The bike appeared well made and fully loaded with tech and luggage came in at just over £9k
Checked YouTube and the reviews look good albeit reviewers as opposed to real owners
My main concern about all these newer companies is dealer network and back up but certainly a company to watch
Forgot to take a pic but here's a google pic

Voge among other brands are imported by MotoGB who are a big business these days. The family also own 13 or 14 retail dealers.

Who wouldn't want to ride a Benda ?

Daft name aside that Benda LFC700 looks fantastic. It's not my style of bike but it's nice to see something that looks really different.
I thought you meant that black v-twin, of which I think just about every manufacterer makes some version it seems.... But the LFC700 is actually this:inline four cylinder engine, 240 rear tyre, Brembo brakes. Crazy. It's like a modern day Kawasaki ZL1000!
I was looking round my neighbours Voge DSX900 at the weekend. He picked it up on the Wednesday and done a hundred miles or so on it and was pleased with the bike and quality so far. He traded in a KTM for it and is a serial bike changer. There is a local dealer selling all the bikes they can get in.
It looked solid and decent quality.

I sat on one at the MCL show yesterday.
It looks fine and solid BUT the thing you see first when you jump on the bike and every time you ride it…the top clamp of the triple tree has a cast finish that reminds me of a set of cheap spanners.
No matter how cheap it was I couldn’t look at that everyday.
I can't see any reason why it wouldn't be a fine bike, until it goes wrong. New manufacturers always seem to struggle with parts supply. If the parts are readily available then there's no reason that this shouldn't make a good bike with less of a hit to the wallet than more premium brands.
I recently spoke to a mechanic who works in a multi franchise dealer and have been selling Voge for a while.
His comments
Owners love them
No major issues so far and Voge very good on warranty claims and parts availability
Generally reliable so far
Fixtures and fittings not as high quality as more established brands and show signs of corrosion if not looked after

I like the idea of these and had a sit on one recently but I'd be worried about what it would be worth in 3 years time with 30k on the clock. I doubt very much..
This one seems to have shat itself. The guy explains the dealer network in the UK don't have a clue what's gone wrong with it but it did lose 3k off the odo in the process.

Too true about the depreciation, but at £9k to start it would be less than you would lose on a new £20-30k BMW / KTM etc.
I would be more concerned about reliability, dealership network and parts availability.
I think a F900GS with the same level of equipment including luggage is over £17k and will be worth what in 3 years £9k? The Voge would have to drop a lot to beat that.I would be more concerned about reliability, dealership network and parts availability.
I've seen a few dealers pick up CFMoto, Moto Morini, Benelli only to drop them after a year or two so it will be interesting to see if Voge become established
I'm amazed people buy these Chinese bikes. The quality of the steel used sometimes isn't even up to the spec they say it is, so it could break from just being very poor quality, or just rust into oblivion. Lots of finished goods from China are made from repurposed metal that didn't meet spec elsewhere, and can be resmelted scrap with random chemistry, with dodgy porosity. There is a reason why they can make stuff really cheap.
Plus who in the UK is going to ride around with BENDA written on the tank?

Norton seem to get away with it at twice the priceIt looks fine and solid BUT the thing you see first when you jump on the bike and every time you ride it…the top clamp of the triple tree has a cast finish that reminds me of a set of cheap spanners.

Any evidence of that on Voge bikes?Plus who in the UK is going to ride around with BENDA written on the tank?

What are the negative connotations of Voge ?
I don’t know? But from what I gather from people who actually own and have ridden substantial miles on them, they are quite well received. I haven’t heard of any components just breaking purely because it’s Chinese? I may be wrong though?
FWIW, I work in the automotive industry and the Chinese suppliers that I use and deal with almost daily are very professional, easy to deal with and supply us with parts that are of as good quality, if not better than any other UK supplier I’ve used in the past.
The Indian suppliers on the other hand.
