Hi, i got an engine replacement done for my Ford Focus 2013 1.0. But it's been dropping RPMs again and again. I checked it using my OBD and it shows the cyclinder 2 is misfring and also showring multiple cylinder misfires. The mechanic has replaced the fuel rail from another used car and also replaced the spark plugs with some other ones. When he did the engine replacement he I thought I will have a good running car back but now i am stuck I don't know what to do. He also charged me more for the replacements even though they did not sort the problem out. He sourced the engine and did everything. I have spent upwards of 2k on it. I checked the resistences of the ignition coils and they seem to be equal. Then I swapped around the ignition coils, but the OBD is still cylinder 2 misfire and multiple misfires. I need some advice on how to proceed, as I am not stuck with a car very low power output which randomly cuts out. He stated he used a remanufactured engine for it.

I would change the injector seals. You need a special forming tool to fit the Teflon seal to the injector. If it’s not fitted correctly then they will leak and the car will run like a burst bottom. Buy the seals from ford as I bought mine from Autodoc and they lasted a week.
