We went to see a four week old show cocker puppy today, our hearts melted immediately. Due diligence was done and we’ve paid a deposit and are looking forward to bringing her home on December 7th.

She will be our first ever dog/puppy.

I read the title as Slow Cooker Spaniel Incoming.
Pup looks lovely. We have two and the younger one looked just like that three years ago. Fantastic dogs, part of our family and now great with the grandchildren too.

Make sure anything you don't want to be chewed is put away, for the first year or so.

Congrats, as said on other thread. There's a recent thread on cockers here:

https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

Show cockers tend to be 'easier' than working cockers.

Given how house proud you are, based on your house renovation thread, I hope you're prepared for the mess a puppy can create yikes

The fabric covered, floor standing Bang & Olufsen speakers in the dining room might need a re-think.

she is so cute...which counts for nothing...now a spaniel owns you hehe. The more time you put into the them the bigger the bond becomes.

congratulations, they really are fantastic dogs, the rewards of having a 'part trained' one make having one in your family all the more special!!
