New series on again next week?

I had high hopes when it first showed up, although it seemed to fizzle out like a cheap firework in the end

What, like a banger or more of a catherine wheel?

I thought the first series was OK, though I can't remember it now.

It was very good and then......s.fd.sfdgdjhgkh hhp'#
Sorry fell asleep at keyboard.
Like most of these series they always have an air of unknown about them and then as they go on you lose intrest. Bit like knowing who the killer is in a film, once you know thats it really (Except watching Columbo ).
I am finding this with 'Dead Like Me' it seems to be going nowhere. I understand that they were going to finish it off but after popular demand

Well I liked the premise, but once they had reintegrated back into society, in a killing/maiming/exploding cranium, type way,
it
(as you say SBH) just seemed to drift to an unhappy conclusion with a Bill gates type character trying to confiscate the only unborn, perhaps it was a bit of biblical thing.
Was it the Mormons behind it perhaps

Personally I really liked the first series ... the concept that they were abducted not by aliens but by future humanity to solve the problems that will lead to the eventual extinction of the human race was a good one. The cast was excelent as was the writing. I' m interested to see where this goes. Hopefully the US Networks will remain faithful and they'll get a chance to properly finish the story off rather than rushing it.

X files was and remained really the first, I know the Outer limits, Roald Dahl all very good, Dahl fantastic stories
Twin peaks even, although post 'log lady' it went downhill a bit
