Racebox seems to be doing some good Blackfriday deals. Anyone use one as a decent alternative to a phone/app device..? Seems that lots of people review them as a 1/4, 0-60 timer, but no many seem to review them as a lapping timing.

I’d like to see, +/- on a simple display in real time compared to best lap. Ideally something I can also download to a pc and then sync some video to review. Can’t be messing with an app (screen is too small) to review/scroll a complete lap.

Anyone got any positive or negative about them…??

Yes, I use the Mini S as a basic data logger in my race car and would recommend it. It’s accurate enough for a club level racer, and the interface is nice and easy to use, easily identifying your best lap, sectors and then offering an overlay with other laps for comparison.
But you can also download the raw data into other packages if you need more sophisticated analysis - I’ve not done this as I find the app enough for a quick review between sessions.
