Hi, just a few questions on the bodywork.
In picture 54, is that the start of rust at the front corner on the left where the wing needs with the reflector in the bumper?
Was the mentioned paint run on the car caused after a respray? What happened to need paint?
Can you supply a photo of the paint bubbles on the roof near the windscreen?
Have the wheel arches been rolled?
Many thanks
Michael

Good morning Michael

1.The paint run on the junction of the left corner of wheel arch and bumper was first noticed during photography for the auctions, it has not had a respray, nor anything that I could think of in the last 6 and half years I had the car.

2. I have a photo but I am unable to upload in this response because annoyingly, this thread is not allowing me to attach photos in this reply. its 2 very small pin point sixed bubbles that is not noticeable but as it is a 10+ year old ccar paint I did not want to leave out any details

3. The WHeel arches have never been rolled, this fitment of 17x9 et38 wheels were picked inspired by Misha's Apex nurburgring gt86 and the 245/40 tyres are perfect fitment with no rubbing.

I will attach the photo to the pistonheads auctions info email hoping they would attach it to this thread/

Hope this helps

Best wishes
Rajesh

Thanks Rajesh - so just to confirm, on the front left wing where the body meets the bumper at the area of the reflector, there is NOT any rust? (Photo added on next comment)

Hi Michael, no rust in that part you pointed.
I went and checked again.
However I would like to bring to attention to the potential bidders that I have now noticed surface rust at 12 o clock of the left wheel arch very superficial the images of that is also being emailed to pistonheads auction so the potential bidders can be aware once they add them to the thread

I apologise again as this thread is not displaying options for attaching photos

That wing certainly looks like its either damaged or been damaged and repaired in the past?

As I understand it though, this must have happened before your ownership so we don’t have any further information on this right?

The new picture does also seem to show some discolouration, but you’re confirming that this is not rust. Have I understood that correctly?

Hello Hamzamain

referencing the images attached by Richard to this thread

The junction of the panel near the the reflector of the bumper in the wheel arch area looks like a loss of paint chunk with no spreading and fading brown discolouration, which is my understanding of obvious rust. So it does not look rusted to me

I can confirm it hasn't had the left wheel arch painted or repaired since March 2018 which is when I bought the car.

The wheel arch at 12 O clock in the last image upladed by Richard, looks brown and feels rough which I understand is rust.

Hope this helps

Best wishes
Rajesh
