Any suggestions on my AirTag problems

Just seeing if anyone has a suggestion re my Apple AirTag.
For 2 of them I keep getting the notification saying it needs a new battery. Have done this per instructions but it comes on again after a day or so. I have looked at the Apple forum and one suggestion was that some batteries have a coating on to help against damage if children swallow them. It suggests that the battery is wiped with methylated spirits to remove this. Have done this but still no joy. Have also tested the battery and it is full.

Any other ideas out there?

Which brand of batteries are you using? I found that no matter what I did (meths etc.) Duracell simply would not work. Having used AirTags for a few years now I have found that Panasonic C2032s are fine.

I’m just using cheap unbranded ones from Amazon… they seem ok.

Just an update. The Panasonic brand batteries appear to have done the trick.
