Hi,just trying to get some info on where to get wiper motor for vxr8,prob the same as some other gm car???.

Do not think the US LHD G8/SS will be the same part. Maybe check the postage on some of these if you use them. A lot if them are ex Holden Spare parts places.
It also looks like the VE and VF are the same part.

I just had to replace mine - was sourced from Aus as nothing available in the UK even from breakers.

US LHD versions won't work.

It's possible to take the internals from a lhd motor assembly and make your existing one work (I have a very talented 'the man' who did the work on mine)....obvs much easier to get one from Aus if Walkinshaw don't have any in stock

As you say there is a chance a motor from something else will likely do.
