Just got back from a quick blat in my S2 after fitting an induction kit bought off ebay from piooly who posts on here.

Well I see someone on another thread said that £100 seemed alot for what you got. Well let me tell you all it sounds 'kin awesome.

Is the car quicker - Probably not but it seems to rev more freely. Its £60 cheaper than the hurricane kit, from what I can see its exactly the same and as I said above it sounds amazing. I'd definitely recommend the kit - Only problem is now I need an exhaust to match!!

Just read the post re: Larini group buy - Definitely interested - Putting my name down.

haven't told the insurance company yet but have checked it out before and adds approx £50 annually to the policy.

£50?

Jesus H Christ on a bike. That's daylight robbery - who are you with?

Just tell them that it adds zero performance gain (because in reality it doesn't - 2-3bhp max if you're very lucky) and that it's just a more efficient unit than the OEM one.

Hi Lassermatt.

Glad to hear you like the kit. Reputation does seem to be picking up. Everyone thats purchased one has given me good feedback. Enjoy, brings a smile to my face every time I take the car out!

Cheekymonkey, I'm free any evening next week so when ever you want to have a look, let me know.

I am currently developing an induction kit for the 111R. I have to say it is going to sound fantastic. Its great on the K series, but will scream on the 111R. Watch this space. Price wish its going to be about £150. A bit more expensive than the K Series due to additional parts.

Just checked out the insurance online - £30 extra for a year for induction kit and exhaust which is coming soon - Thought that was preccty good compared to previous cars I've had with various mods.

I got the Hurricane kit on mine 3 days ago and am most impressed. Had I known about the e-bay kit sooner I might have got it, but having said that I'm more than happy with the Hurricane system anyway. I got the CarbonFibre one for its better insulating properties over the ally one and (to be honest) the wank factor of having a nice carbon cold air box sitting on top of the motor.

I LOVE it... it's shot my fuel economy to the bits as I 'm now driving everywhere on wide-open throttle where possible to enjoy the sound. It's DEFINITELY given a (small) increase in power and the throttle response is improved... although I added a S160 throttle body at the same time so it's all addittive. I'm getting a Larini with the group buy too so by the time summer rolls around in a month or so the car's going to be an absolute HOOT to punt around the roads (not that it isn't now of course!)
