2007 130i LE - time for a new battery
Discussion
Current battery is dated 2011 (its done well); but time to change
Reading 51% charge now (Via Bimmerlink/Bimmercode and my Creator C410 code reader), and with it coming to winter, makes sense to do it rather than keeping it plugged into my CTEK all the time
Thinking of this Bosch via Tayna: https://www.tayna.co.uk/car-batteries/bosch/s5a11/
This would be a like for like for the Banner battery that's fitted now: https://www.tayna.co.uk/car-batteries/bosch/s5a08/
But thinking the extra cranking amps will be better suited to the 3.0 N52
Thoughts?

More is usually better and a 5 year warranty sounds good!
Although I bought a 70ah AGM one in 2021 and it hasn't had any problems starting my Z4M which quite often sits a week or two without being used.
I got an Exide because that was OE for Z4s, also from Tayna who were excellent - even if their courier wasn't.

Yeah. That's what it has now and like you, it sits more or less all week with zero issues. Only had it on trickle before we went away as it'd not moved for nearly 2 weeksAlthough I bought a 70ah AGM one in 2021 and it hasn't had any problems starting my Z4M which quite often sits a week or two without being used.

I may just go like for like due to the Bosch 5 year warranty via Tayna. Always used them and never had an issue thankfully
