There are a few people who have died that everytime i remember about their deaths it is like hearing it for the first time again. It just doesnt make sense that they are dead.

For me they are my Grandads. But more famously the one that plays on my mind is Richard Whiteley. I forgot he was even dead until the news today that Des Lynam has replaced him.

So who is it for you?

When I first split up with my husband (9 years ago), I became very good friends with a woman of similar age and circumstances as myself. For a year or so we supported each other through some very difficult times and she will always be someone I am very grateful to.

In June 2003, she went to bed for a nap in the afternoon and never woke up. Her daughter found her. She had the adult version of cot death and her death is unexplained.

She died 5 days before her 32 birthday, leaving a 12 year old daughter an orphan and leaving two young boys under 3 years old.

Same for me, I remember coming in from a club, whizzing my tits off and just sitting in front of the TV for 24 hours... Very surreal

My parents' house was named Hailwood after the Great Man.

That comeback on the Ducati..... was it 1977?

What a guy.

Cheers
