Anyone own and drive a 575?

2nd XJ after 3 years in a diesel version where I was doing 20k miles a year up and down the M6. Also drove that one across France to the Alsace.Just back from a two week trip down to Tuscany in the XJR. Didn't see another XJ on the whole trip, never mind an XJR and it was turning heads left right and centre.
The diesel XJ had normal servicing at a main dealer and a diff seal under warrantee in 50k miles.
The XJR has had normal servicing at an indi and a speed sensor in the front hub go that was covered by an aftermarket warrantee in the first 3 months of ownership.
I will own and run this car until the politicians make me take it off the road. It has an almost Bentley like quality to it (a few plasticky buttons but the leather is sublime). Can morph between Jaaaaaag cruiser and Muscle car with a press of the Dynamic button and the gearbox into Sport. Was doing mid to high 30's mpg at 80mph cruise across France and made a great noise with the windows down going over the Alps. Once it found traction it was also reeling in a Macan Turbo from the Toll Booths.
My father always wanted a Jag and got his first S-Type petrol on retirement. That was then traded for an XF which he had until his passing. I have some very special pictures of his XF and my diesel XJ together, he would have loved the XJR and would like to think would have swapped the XF for one.
Also have a Porsche 997 version 911 and that thing is like Triggers Broom with replacement parts and empties my wallet every time it goes near a garage. It's also the reason the XJR and a friends Macan Turbo went to Tuscany. Both (!!!) 997's threw faults before we even made it to the ferry. we drove home, collected two 'unprepped' cars (mine was due a service and new tires) and headed back to the ferry the following day.
I keep thinking about adding an XKR but the 911 is manual, fits in the garage (XK too long) and is a different driving proposition.
I have worked hard to run my cars over the years and my
prized possession is my 98 XJR. Which I have owned for 17 years now.
My X351 Oil Burner is now being traded for a 575.
To be fair the diesel on a 2016 plate has had quite a few issues, which are now resolved, but it lost its pleasure factor to me because of the issues. And boy, do they coke up.
It never missed a beat touring around France and Europe though.
I am very excited about the 575, counting down the days for collection haha.

I completely understand what you say about the Porsche , every time I hear a burble or tinkle from mine I feel my sphincter loosen . I have always been an admirer of the Jaguars power delivery , I just struggled with the shape and overall look so I never bought one . I'm one of the oddballs that like both the x351 and its predecessor. My dad was as well with his desire for a Jag sparked from a loan of his brother-in-laws XJ in the 80's. He needed folding back seats for his fishing gear so the S-Type and XF it was.I can see why some people have an issue with the design of the X351 XJ. It can look a bit 'blobby' at the back (but I love 911's so what to I know) and the rear window is a *#** to try to clean. I do however think the rear arches give it a very muscular stance. I do however love the interior design.
I do like the more balanced look of the X350 but don't like the interior. Very little difference between the XJ and my dads old S-Type there and that did feel cheap.
Lottery win would be a RetroPower restomod with the 5.0 Supercharged Engine and ZF8 Speed dropped into the older car with a better designed more unique interior.
