Opinions on the PH auction of the 25th Anniversary NC?

Hi all, just wondering what the MX-5 community opinion is of the underside of the NC currently coming up for auction on here is (link below).
It looks really crusty to me, but do you all think this is normal for a 2014 car or is it best avoided?

Based on the pics (149 of them!) it looks pretty good. Finding ten year old MX-5s that are in a better condition on the underside is definitely possible but not easy, they can be far far worse at that age.

Personally, I’d buy it if the price was right

Looks like a bit of overspray on the NSF splash guard so worth checking the paint match is ok there if possible.

Yeah, I saw the overspray. Advert mentions that it’s had paint on the front and near side wing with some runs visible in the paint.
I appreciate a car can look clean and shiny but have hidden issues - hence my concern on the few underside photos.

Doesnt look that bad, there is a bit on the chassis there that id want to address before it gets any worse.
May be worth handing it over to a specialist if you do buy it to give it a thorough treatment underneath so maybe keep a budget in mind for that.

Definitely budget for a professional MX5 underseal. The Soul Red paint is a 3 stage pearl which is lovely but almost impossible to match. I know from experience.
