Hi all,

One of the halogen bulbs which powers the DRLs has gone out on my pre LCI E92, so I’m looking for new H8 bulbs. I’ve had a look online and haven’t really been able to conclude what could be a good option.

A bulb with a whiter light would be nice, as opposed to the standard yellow. Osram have a cool blue xenon look bulb, but having seen some Amazon reviews, it seems these lights are basically still yellow.

It doesn’t seem worth the price so I’m leaning towards a bog standard Osram H8 bulb for £18 from ECP, unless anyone can vouch for another quality bulb? Thanks.

Never had any issues with Osram Cool Blue Intense bulbs; always been a decent, brighter/whiter light etc

They'll do you just fine if you want a whiter light

I have a set of these in the E61, a lot whiter, brighter, no errors.

Cheers for the recommendation. These look interesting. Would you be able to upload a picture by any chance of them on your E61? No rush at all.

I had to go to the office today, so took it in for a run as its sat around for a bit. Hopefully this gives some sort of idea?

Sorry for the dumb question. But is the outer halo a reflection or from the outer bulbs?

Recently put a set of these on and they sit in the middle between the standard halogens and LEDs for whiteness. I actually tried the LEDs on my pre-LCI E92 and decided that I preferred the old look. However, the Halogen angel eye/Xenon main lamp colours jarred so these seemed like a decent compromise. First world problems biggrin
