JCT Leeds or Graypaul Notts
Discussion
I was wondering which one people would recommend for servicing and wararnty work on my FF? I didn't have the best experience with JCT Leeds with my old Aston. They managed to cut a very sharp line in not only the paint, but also the windscreen when they washed before handing back they totally denied it too.
It's my first Ferrari so I have no experience of either. I'm leaning towards Graypaul with them being a dedicated Ferrari dealership, rather than a sell everything to everyone place, despite being a further 30 minutes drive from me.

Personally I don’t like JCT full stop in any brand. I’ve seen too much and they as a business have an appalling attitude.
I agonised over where to service my 458 as it had full Ferrari history. I just couldn’t bring my self to give JCT any money so went with a local specialist who I used for my 430.
Am more than happy with my decision.
Lees is about 25 miles away, the specialist about 15. I have cycled back in the past.
So if you have to use a main dealer I guess Leeds wouldn’t be my recommendation. But to be clear / fair I’ve never used them.

Cheers guys. I also didn't like JCT Leeds when I used them previously. Bad attitude in general, never mind the damage they did to the Aston.
It still has Power Warranty until July and I'll probably extend it again when the time comes so it's worth keeping it in the dealer network. Graypaul it is.

Funny i thought it was just me but although having no complaints about Maranello's sales or service when i inspected my F430 It's my first Ferrari so I have no experience of either. when i arrived home under my garage lights i found a number of scratches and swirl marks that just wasn't there before i took the car for
it's annual service ,probably being black didn't help either.
Wish i had noticed them on collection as when i called to complained i felt i was was being brushed off as being a little ocd but they did offer to
view the damage if i bring the car back ,some 150 round trip and having to leave the car there that i've just collected for a further few days.
In the end i decided my time was better spent having always detailed my own cars and have a go at trying to polish the scratches out myself.
Took me best part of three days off and on to get the car looking anywhere near looking like it did before i left it with them.
As my two year Ferrari warranty was running out that was the last time they serviced it and got QV who have looked after my older Ferrari's
to do any work needed for a more personal service and down to earth prices (well in the world Ferrari's }.
Car valeting , detailing or just a wash is a fine art and can do more damage than good and i don't think these main dealers especially the larger
corporate owned ones pay enough importance to it and employ young lads who have probably only ever washed their parents cars thinking that
will be good enough.
Different story maybe for the sales side where the cars are displayed in a highly lit showroom and have their own professional team of detailers.
To be honest i would rather them leave a few oily marks and dust and clean the car myself than have a repeat performance .
Apologies for the long rant ,

Graypaul Notts is partly why I have a Ferrari - when I was 17 I had a Fiat Cinquecento for my first car, complete with Ferrari sticker on the boot! I used to drive to the dealer on occasion and drool over the cars and they never turned me away or had a problem with me arriving in a £500 car! Told me once they would always let people look at the cars as they never knew who would be a customer one day. I bought mine from Graypaul Edinburgh in the end as the right car turned up but used Notts for the service during summer.
I bought both my 458 Spider and F12 from JCT Ferrari Leeds in 2014 and 2015.
37000 and 35000 miles each later they've been back to JCT for all servicing, a warranty loom sort on the F12, and a couple of minor mechanical repairs on the 458 and I can't fault JCT. Superb service throughout. I'm a right fussy cooker with my cars and they've never once let me down. They've also been helpful with advice and little jobs over the years (storing my F12 on their spare wheels when i had the wheels refurbed and didn't feel comfortable with it on my 2 post for example).
My only dealings with Notts is that they bought my Speciale off me and it all went smoothly.
