Hi, Can you comment on if/when you got the car checked out for bore scoring?

My car is the 987.2 version which doesn't have the same issue with the 987.1 models. This means this second generation 987 model is free of the potential for bore scoring.

Hi again, The invoice date 6th May 2023 (2016789) states repairs of approx. £3.5k. Can you please elaborate on what was carried out?

The cost of services/repairs in May 2023 were full major service, brake fluid change, replacements of front and rear brake discs and pads, replacement of main drive belt and tensioner, replacement of window regulator and reassembly of door, and MOT.

Not having the Sports Chrono option (Sports, Sports+) - does that mean that the chassis and drivetrain are configured for straight Sports mode?

I don't think so. It has no Sport mode, so the suspension, etc will be standard Normal.

Thanks! If you tracked the car and/or have experience with the S variant / one with the Sport Chrono option, how does it handle and compare?

I have never tracked this car. But this Normal set-up handles very well. Never driven a 987.2 S.

Also I see in the mechanical photos the exhaust looks to be broken with the tail pipe hanging down. It’s difficult to see what requires replacing in the photo, so could you confirm please ? Is it clamps only, tail pipe or complete silencer that requires replacing?

Not broken any of what you said. Replaced exhaust manifold to system and gaskets in July 2023. Porsche inspection in April 2024 did not reveal any broken tail pipe, or loose clamps
