Sorry this is a continuation of the previous topic of wanting an exhaust, but I thought it might be worth being totally specific with the title.

I have just spoken to a chap called David at Larini. The info is as follows:

111r exhaust is in final testing and if all goes well, will be available in a few weeks.

The S2 exhaust - clubsport is the one to go for they say, is now available in round or oval tailpipes with / without cat bypass etc.

Normal price £370 ex vat

S1 Clubsport £296 ex vat
Sports £350

They will offer a discount - typically
10% for 3 exhausts
15% for 5 exhausts

They will discuss larger numbers, so lets get together on this.

Good idea as Larini appears to be the most popular choice.

So, 1*Larini for 111R

Cheers, Rob.

I'd be keen. I'm after a package of an S1 Club Sports exhaust, a full Manifold and also a cat-replacement pipe. Will this still apply to me even though I'm in New Zealand? As in will they ship the individual exhausts to different places or will it have to be re-shipped to me afterwards? I was thinking of getting this system anyway and if I can make some real savings then I'm in like flynn!

I'm sure this will be no problem - will obviously cost more postage. We'll have to ask to be sure but lets count you in until they say otherwise.

thanks shot2bits. Obviously I'll be expecting to pay more shippage, but was just thinking that if it was a group-buy they'd be wanting to make the one package up.... put me in, I'm in no HUGE hurry as I was gonna wait for christmas, but if there's a discount to be had then I'm happy to work in with you guys and get whenever (so long as it's before mid-november, want to get it fitted with my C-service). So yeah... put me down, let me know the news once we get a few people together

Thats 6 of us so far - what they said though was that they have been stung in the past where only 2 out of 10 have actually bought the exhausts - I am sure there will be a practical way around this.

Perhaps the "pistonheads group" and give them a list of names and the specific orders. I haven't seen the oval pipes, but the round pipes on Just1's S2 look fabulous

I guess we provide them with payment details but they don't authorise until they have the required amount of us to make the discount level?
I'm happy to do it this way - what about you guys? If we achieve the trigger amount, they can start the orders and shipping.

I already have the exhaust but if you can include the full de-cat pipe from them from me, it'd be appreciated

currently have original exhaust and oval tails. much perfer the loko of the round ones. anyone know how easy it is to get the newer mesh...will it fit standard, early S2? (the earliest in fact!)

is time to treat the elise to something I think....and the cost for this is very reasonable...

I am told the round pipes fit the standard s2 rear grill, all models. The 111r has different positioning of the pipes - through the splitter, but for any other s2 derivative, the guy at larini said it would be fine.

As far as payment is concerned and people dropping out, I think someone suggested card details to Larini and then once we are satisfied that we have many as we are going to get, then they take the money.

i.e. giving them the card detials is our way of saying yes we want one and takes away the ability to drop out.

Would also suggest someone acts as a single point of contact and that person correlates all of the orders, by each person emailing them with their requiements.

I think Tony's Cat pipe will count as one item, doubt if Larini are that concerned what is ordered, just so long as something is.

I thought Larini direct were more expensive than going via some retialer that someone rang. Anyone remember who that was, how much they were charging and could they contact them about a group buy discount.

OK, so one of us needs to speak to Larini and confirm - I'd also like to understand exactly when to expect delivery of the 111R version...

Shangani - as you've spoken to David, would you mind organising this and obtaining a contact number / email address?

David suggested the 111r exhaust would be ready in about 4 weeks.

For the S2 / 111s clubsport:

The dealer price was £363 incl £13.50 postage & vat + fitting £126 for a total of £490.50. The guy at Larini did not seem to be happy when I mentioned a dealer discount, but I did not tell him which dealer.

Essentially this works out at a 20% discount, but they will have to fit it. If you are planning a self fit, this doesn't work out.

Cost otherwise £347.80 incl vat ex postage with a 20% discount

15% discount - £369 incl vat without postage.

Essentially the dealer price is as low as we are going to get, but then rather expensive to have it fitted.

Sounds like 20% is as low as we will get.
