2010 4.7 Roadster to 2021/22 Roadster
Discussion
Hi All,
I have enjoyed my manual 4.7 roadster for the last 6 1/2 years and now find my head being turned by the later model. I am looking at the 2021/22 roadster.
I would be interested to hear from people that have made the same switch and how the two cars compare.
Also, what are the things to look out for on the newer cars - best options and maintenance issues?
TIA,
Brian

Hi Brian,
I have a 21 roadster and also the last of the VH hardtop.
Both wonderful cars.
I wrote a thing on it that you may find useful.

As far as essential options, the exterior black pack is an absolute must. The million way adjustable sports seats are up there too. They are outstanding.

Hi - can't comment on previous Vantage, however I've been enjoying my 2021 Vantage roadster since last Christmas and as a former 911 addict, I'd definitely recommend one.
My only slight criticism would be the sound isn't quite as theatrical in a 2021 car as the pre-GPF version. It's certainly still vocal enough but default driving mode is a tad muted.
I personally think the front grill makes a big difference given the new version's face - the hunter grill always looked odd to me.
The bonnet vents are also practical (especially on my black car) and I think these were an option.
The sound package seems OK - but limited depth (doesn't bother me) and I think all the ones I looked at had the quad exhaust.
