According to commanderbond.net ,Pierce Brosnan is back in the running to play James Bond in Casino Royale , the 21st James Bond film due to start production in January. In fact, a senior Sony executive has told a member of the Casino Royale production team that the new Bond will "probably" be Pierce Brosnan.

So it looks like Eon can't decide on Daniel Craig. Recently a Hollywood Reporter claimed that Barbara Broccoli liked Craig, but Michael G. Wilson did not.

I'd be very surprised of Brosnan does make a return after he slagged them off in the press.

The saga of the next Bond continues...

Isn't Casino Royale the first bond book, if so, it'll be a bit like Batman Begins and we'll see how Bond started off, so they'll need a younger actor...

I think it was inferred in the "first book" "younger bond" post.

the invisibility mode on my Aston is unfortunately permanently stuck on also. I'll post a photo if you don't believe me.

Oh right, sorry gotcha.

In that case , yes. They really overdid the CGI sh*t in D.A.D, most Bond fans would rather see a return to a good story line and good acting, rather like From Russia With Love.
The Bourne Trilogy has raised the bar for the Bond franchise.

I think Nathaniel Parker would make a good James Bond.

Hes the guy from the Inspector Lynley Mysteries.

probably yea, but he has the right look and englishness for the part - kinda reminds me of Dalton (one of my favourite bonds)

I'm still holding out for Clive "bring me a hardtop with a big trunk" Owen.

I think Brosnan jumped the shark with DAD.

I'm still surprised that the producers rejected Tarantino's (serious) offer to direct the remake of Casino Royale- with Brosnan in the role.

It was apparantly to be a very 60s based movie (think violent Goldmember).

How are things with you?

Now that you ask and unfortuantly in light of other comments on your psot. Things are fantastic with me.

I loved David Niven in Casion Royale. In fact I am of that age when I actually believed stories in films were real. Two films, this one and James Stewart in The Glen Miller Story are always my classic "this is real not acting" films.
