Help Needed - 4.7 V8 Vantage won't start

As per the title, i have an issue with my 2009 4.7 Vantage (Sportshift) which suddenly refuses to start...
Pressing in key in the slot does initiate the system check progress i.e. the "Power-Beauty-Soul" sequence appears normally, but when i press the brake nothing happens (car won't crank). Following that, the message "check battery starter" appears, and then i get error codes. Also, there are some dotted lines on the left hand screen where secondary mileage normally appears.
Some electrical systems work and others don't:
1. Locks / Lights / Mirrors / Glovebox work
2. Seats / Windows / Mechanicals (starter motor, fuel pump etc.) don't work
Also, we are not able to run a diagnostics test - the scan will reach 99% and then a message will appear saying that connection to the car cannot be established.
We did a check, and there is power going to the cabin fuse box, but not on the engine bay fusebox or the terminal that you can connect an external battery to.
The car has a new battery (changed in February) and has always been on a charger when not used. In any case, we tried giving power through another battery but got the same problem.
We also tried changing the key battery, just in case this was causing an issue with the immobiliser, but no luck there also.
We thought it might be an issue with Battery Disconnect Switch, but we can hear the relay clicking when the button is being pressed (and it seems to disengage properly when the key is inserted)
Any ideas would be really appreciated
P.S. The car is parked with the passenger side close to a wall, thus we are not able to access anything on that side from the outside. Is there a way to put the car in neutral manually? I read on the manual that this can be done with the car off by pushing the "N" button twice, but unfortunately this does not work on my case...
