Watched the first two episodes tonight.

Very watchable - I stayed awake - which is the acid test!

We binge watched about four episodes last night, so I was looking this morning to see if there was a thread about this. The reviews state that it is based on a true story, although most of that is in episode one from what I can see, Joan's sister is clearly pretty tolerant of her trouble-magnet sibling.

Slightly different from what actually happened back in the day but a good watch imo.

I think its more based on a real person as opposed to a true story.
