Car & Classic: Auction buying process

Not sure this is the correct place to ask, but just looking for any feedback on the Car & Classic Auction process. I'm interested in a car, I've registered with Car & Classic previously fof submitting a sales advert however the registering process for bidding via auction makes me a bit wary - I've gone to register and it's asked for my bank details, Car & Classic appear to manage the payment between buyer / seller if your are successful and also take a fee.

However, upon entering my details and submitting to register, I get diverted to my bank with a page advising of fraud etc and am I happy to proceed with the payment. However I'm making no payment at present, I just want to register to bid initially.

I'm sure it's all ok but has anybody bid / bought via Car & Classic and if so, how did it go? The holding payment aspect and bank details up front before even bidding are making me a slightly nervous man!
