Anyone going?

I'm going to drool over some 60's/70's/80's stuff.

Anything newer (generally) doesn't interest me

A great day out though, whatever floats your boat.

I might go have a look. I need a few bits for the Norton, so I might have a mooch.

I was looking at the Bonhams catalogue for it the other day, there's some cool (expensive!) stuff in there too.

Should place bets on what will make the most money out of the 1939 supercharged BMW GP bike or the Series A Vincent twin. Both estimated at about £250,000 yikes

Possibly the same Rapide sold for £229k in April. I don’t know what the fees are but if it goes for £250k they won’t be up in overall terms.

It’s a brave person splashing big on classic bikes at the moment.

Why would they be brave?

Yeah. Stupid would be a better word.

Not sure I follow. You can buy stupidly but the claims all old vehicles are cheap now and losing money is balls. Good stuff is still making very, very good money.
