Audi B5 avant 1.8t fuel pump

The fuel pump on my shed has failed - got rescued by the RAC a couple of weeks ago.
Local garage can get a cheap copy but they’d rather use a decent one but can’t get one for love nor money. Car is sitting on the drive currently and although it will start now, the RAC state they will charge if they get called out for the same issue so I’m not using it.
Europarts doesn’t have any supply, my local dealer doesn’t know when they can get one…
Is there anyone else worth trying?
I don’t want one off a breaker as it could be as knackered as mine.
