If you can post the URL of the ad then the team can look at blocking it (if inappropriate).

It would help if you posted in the correct place, and added a link for the techies (not mods) to sort out

Looks a lovely chef knife to me. I’m quite tempted. What’s wrong with the advert?

OP might be associating it with the zombie knives that are in the news quite a lot of late?

It’s hardly like it’s a forum for Peppa Pig and full of kids

You mean, other than the fact that it’s a quarter of the size, not a zombie knife and rather well made.

I assume the OP eats with his fingers and spreads butter with a spoon…

Looks like a crappy chefs knife with a pushy website.

On closer inspection, I think you’re right!

But it’s only a cooking knife. I’d be absolutely amazed if the OP didn’t have a knife of some sort.

Asking for a ban does seem to me to be a massive overreaction!

What is wrong with an advert for a knife? Telling the mods to get a grip is a bit rich.

Perhaps is just a secret way of the OP letting everyone know he’s got an Aston Martin.

Seems an odd way to do it but you never know…

Why does PH need revenue to support such advertising, the original founder PetrolTed hopefully is listening who may want to comment.
PH has been sold twice since Ted owned it. PH is a business like any other and has costs to cover, hence the advertising.

As mentioned above, I really don’t see the issue with the advert mentioned.

Would they worry about any other kitchen implements? It isn’t an illegal knife for hurting people.

You could do someone a nasty injury with a balloon whisk…

I'm pretty sure I've seen pretty much the same knife advertised on TV, might have been a JML.

Your Aston could be dangerous with the wrong person behind the wheel. Maybe you shouldn’t talk about those if so snowflakey.

This is an advert for a kitchen knife so there is nothing wrong with it - it isn't a campaign we have sold but something served programmatically through the Google display network. If you don't like it, you can click on the 'X' in the corner and click the button that says 'Stop seeing this ad'.

Could one not be in danger of cutting oneself by attempting to click the 'X' though. It looks sharp to me
