Got a GR86 and got a new set of light wheels coming soon. Tyre size will be 225-40-18. I've run Michelin Pilot Sport for year and have the PS5 on the stock wheels which I really like but I want to try something else. Hearing good things about Goodyear again but need some real world opinions on what works. Some have gone new Continental but I'm still stuck in old assumptions they don't wear well and grip drops off completely at 3mm. Is that still the case? What else could I have?

Conti do the same.I am not saying this about you, just bring this up as you mention the phrases, and I do know this isn't what you were asking.
