Classic mini clubs and garages in France

[Downton_mini_minor]

Hi, relocating to France in the next 12 months - currently searching in 2 areas - Loire and the Dordogne. I know of a classic car club in Le Mans for minis, and also, a specialist for classic mini repair - atelier Nicolas Pinon near Tours - hence my persuasion to move here.

Anyone know anything about Dordogne at all?

Try and make contact with a guy called 'Julio Wildeboer' who runs 'Car Lovers of Mayenne' Facebook site.
He has a lot to do with Mini tours I believe and has a couple himself.

Sebastian Tombs on here has a vintage mini,he’s in the Charente department.

I do indeed, though I have done all my own work on it since buying it, getting most of my parts from French mail order specialists such as Datch or The Little Car Shop.

There are a few clubs around the region, as the Mini's a proper iconic car here.

I dropped in there a couple of weeks ago to have a chat about my Mini. Very nice chap very knowledgable.
It looks like he has built a new workshop there
