Best cars ever built in the UK
Discussion
Add the Jaguar XJ6, possibly even the X150 XK, choice of Bentleys (blower, S2, Turbo R, new Continentals), MG B (pre 75), vintage MGs like the K2, TC, TD, A, Triumph TR5, choice of Bristol (I like the Beaufighter), TVR should be a Griffith or a Cerbera but there's arguments for most of them. Lotus Elise, Esprit, Carlton, Caterham 7 of choice. There must have been a decent Vauxhall built in Luton?
That's before we look at foreign manufacturers with plants in the UK - Ford, Honda, Nissan.

Very hard to pick a top 10 list. If you remember this episode of TopGear it was amazing to think our small country has produced so many different yet fantastic cars / vehicles.
It's the wide variation in great cars we have made which makes picking a top 10 so hard Mini brilliant from a packaging / engineering point, but not ideal for a pan European trip. XK150 FHC stunning looks. McLaren F1 still not been topped some say.
We should celebrate all the great cars we have designed and made in the UK. yes ok even begrudgingly the Nissan Qashqai.

In no real order:
Jensen Interceptor
Aston Martin DB4
Gordon Keeble GK1
Jaguar XK150
Jaguar XJ6/12
Bristol 411
Jaguar E-Type 3.8 Coupe
Morgan Plus 8
Lagonda V12 Rapide
Mini Cooper 1275
TVR Griffith
MGB GT V8
Alvis TF21
Jaguar SS100
Aston Martin V8 Vantage (1988)
Dunno about best British cars, but these would fill my 'British garage' if I won the Euromillions.

While not the most exotic, I can't help but think of the R8 Rover 200/400.
At launch back in 1989, it was class-leading, and a genuinely good car. For the first time in living memory it was a car that came out of Longbridge where no excuses needed to be made, and they sold in bucketloads.
