Well many years of going up and down this road I always looked out for the unusual sign on the central reservation hedading south for Keele Services. It was the same sign from the early seventies. slowly deteriorating and then.... it was gone.

Found out its now at the Aldridge Transport Museum near Walsall in the West Midlands
